I do not use a Sony VAIO USB mouse (PCGA-UMS1 series). Download the 130WHQL.ZIP file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference). Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the 10WHQL.ZIP file to unzip the files to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference). Connect your USB mouse to the USB port on the computer. Click Start-Settings-Control Panel and click the System icon. The 'System Properties' dialog box appears.

Select the Device Manager tab. Click on Human Interface Devices (HID) and select USB Human Interface Device. Click on Properties. Click the 'Update Driver.'
