I finally managed to enable the WiFi on my Acer 5024 in Windows Vista x64. What is interesting is that wbutton.exe only gets installed when the compatibility mode / admin mode was set. 4) When asked to reboot, I instead tweaked the contents of 'C: Program Files (x86) Launch Manager' first: For all the.exe files in that folder, I also set the compatibility mode and administrator mode (the same thing as I did for setup.exe before). 5) Then I rebooted.
