Netextender Windows 7 Failed Install 10,0/10 3329 reviews

My team and I had been running Windows 10 Insider Preview for a while but only inside our domain. Like millions of others I upgraded my home machine to Windows 10 Pro on July 29th. Besides some, it all seemed to be working nicely.

Until I tried to VPN into a network with Dell SonicWALL NetExtender client. NetExtender could connect fine and could even ping the network I was connecting to but no other protocols were available, like http, https, RDP. Not much info was found on the internet, all searches turned up “Cannot connect to Windows 10 through VPN”.

Have not found any real help online with this issue so maybe someone here can help. So I use SonicWALL SSL-VPN NetExtender for work, and it worked perfectly fine in Windows 7. Anyways when trying to install it in Windows 8 it simply does not work says that a 'damaged version NetExtender was detected on your computer, please reinstall NetExtender to fix the problem!' To which I have tried doing just that. I have tried putting it in compatibility mode for windows 7 and run as admin and made sure to start the remote access connection manager in services. I noticed on the device manager that I have 6 unknown devices that are all listed as 'sonicwallnxdrv' and I unable to get anything either online or by trying to point it to the install folder to recognize the drivers.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated and I use SonicWALL SSL-VPN NetExtender version 4.0.131 if that is helpful at all. Original title: SonicWall NetExtender.
